Optical determination of recovered paper composition – Recovered Paper Monitor (RCP Monitor)
This innovative optical system evaluates the composition of your recovered paper with a high degree of statistical certainty based on the INGEDE Method 7.
With an effective measuring width of 100 cm, the system can be installed for both bulk goods and bales on almost any feed conveyor for short-term inspections or continuous operation, and allows mass flow-based evaluation at typical conveyor speed. Together with our partner RTT Robotertechnik-TRANSFER GmbH in Zittau, a flexible, resilient and safe overall system was developed, that combines proven NIR and optical image recognition and brings it together in proven evaluation routines. A lift controlled by lidar sensor ensures that the system always maintains a consistent distance in the depth of field of the cameras, regardless of the loading height of the feed conveyor.
