Optical determination of recovered paper composition – Recovered Paper Monitor (RCP Monitor)
This innovative optical system evaluates the composition of your recovered paper with a high degree of statistical certainty based on the INGEDE Method 7.
With an effective measuring width of 100 cm, the system can be installed for both loose goods and bales on almost any infeed conveyor for short-term inspections or continuous operation, and allows mass flow-based evaluation at typical conveyor speed. Together with our partner RTT (RTT Robotertechnik-TRANSFER GmbH) in Zittau, a flexible, robust and safe overall system was developed, that combines proven NIR and visual camera technology and brings it together in tried-and-tested evaluation routines. A lift controlled by a laser belt occupancy sensor ensures that the system always maintains a consistent distance in the depth of field of the cameras, regardless of the loading height of the infeed belt.
Advantages and benefits
