Paper for Recycling (PfR) - Calculator
Use Value Calculator for recovered paper
This web application demonstrates the basic operation of a utility calculator and is limited to selected functionalities.
The core is a freely selectable composition of the three most commonly used recovered paper grades 1.02.00, 1.04.XX and 1.11.00. In addition, the recovered paper grades can be mixed in any mass proportion.
In addition, the recovered paper grades can be mixed in any proportion. As an example, six suspension and paper properties of a virtual laboratory sheet formed from the grade mix are output. A standard composition can be preset for each recovered paper grade, reflecting current analysis results.

Reffibre - Calculation tool
Calculation of fibre age and number of future uses.
The production and recycling cycles of the main paper sectors are interconnected in many ways. For LCA, the quantification of repeated material use is fundamental.
Based on a simplified fibre flow diagram for the three major paper sectors (graphic papers GP, packaging papers PP, sanitary/household paper and other paper and board SH/O) and taking into account the amounts for virgin fibre consumption, migration of recycled paper and waste generation, the tool calculates for each paper sector:
- the fibre age distribution or the number of future material uses of the paper products
- the mean fibre age (MFA) or the mean number of future material uses (MNU) of the fibre population.
