PTS on the Road in China
With an annual production of approximately 124 million metric tons of paper, China is the world’s largest paper producer. At the same time, the use of recycled fibers continues to grow in importance. As a result, issues related to raw material quality, the detection of contaminants, and the reliable evaluation of waste paper are increasingly becoming a focus for the Chinese paper industry.
CIPTE provided a great opportunity to showcase our solutions to these challenges and engage in discussions with industry representatives. Our colleagues Jörg Hempel and Dr. Martin Zahel held numerous technical discussions on current developments, technological requirements, and potential avenues for collaboration.
In addition to the discussions at the trade show, the program also included a face-to-face meeting with Chinese scientists from the China National Paper Research Institute (CNPPRI) in Beijing.
Participating in CIPTE was another step for PTS toward expanding its international activities and strengthening cooperation with partners in the Chinese market. The company plans to participate again next year. CIPTE 2027 is scheduled to take place in Shanghai.
