Successful PTS Coating Symposium 2025 in Bamberg
For the first time, the PTS Coating Symposium also welcomed numerous representatives from the Chinese paper industry. Participation was coordinated in cooperation with the China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute (CNPPRI).
Under the direction of Dr. Martin Zahel, Dr. Annika Eisenschmidt and Ina Greiffenberg, the symposium offered experts from industry, research and development a platform to discuss current challenges and trends in the paper and packaging industry. The focus was also on current developments in sustainable packaging solutions – a topic that is becoming increasingly important.
The professional program was supplemented by time for personal exchange. A city tour through the historic old town of Bamberg gave the guests the opportunity to get to know this UNESCO World Heritage Site better. The joint conference dinner, accompanied by live piano music, created a pleasant atmosphere for the exchange of professional experiences and ideas. Another highlight of the event – individual, handwritten name tags for the participants.
The symposium was complemented by an accompanying exhibition in which leading industry companies presented their products and technologies.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for their valuable support. Special thanks are due to the organizing team, whose great commitment made this symposium possible.
We are already looking forward to the 33rd PTS Coating Symposium in September 2027!
