Focus on textile recycling: Visit from Södra and Lenzing

Our colleagues gave Dr. Catharina Fechter from Södra and Dr. Richard Herchl and Dr. Thomas Röder from the Lenzing Group an insight into our work.

During their visit in mid-January, we presented our recycling laboratory, our pilot plants, and our NIR measurement technology. The technical exchange focused on the topic of textile recycling. Södra and Lenzing are already working closely together to further develop the OnceMore® process and lift it to a new level.

Innovative analytical approaches from PTS are expected to contribute significantly to this. The intensive exchange once again demonstrated how crucial sound analytics and application-oriented research are for the further development of sustainable recycling processes.
