SCCP Konferenz in Liblice

At a place where historic architecture is usually the center of attention, the focus at the end of June was entirely on current developments in pulp and paper production.

The SCCP conference “New Directions in Pulp & Paper Production” brought together experts from industry, research, and the business world on June 24 and 25 at the Baroque Liblice Castle near Prague.

Max Schneider represented PTS at the event with an information booth in the castle’s Marble Hall. The multilingual event, held in Czech, Slovak, and English, offered a wide range of opportunities for professional exchange and networking within the paper industry.

A highlight of the program was the field trip to the new PM10 facility at Mondi Štětí. The technical program was complemented by an excellent evening event, which provided opportunities for many interesting conversations and new connections.

Even with temperatures nearing 40 degrees, PTS drew a positive conclusion: The conference offered exciting insights, valuable encounters, and new ideas for the future of the paper industry.
