Mastering the PPWR for Paper and Board
The new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) forms the updated legal framework for packaging and packaging waste in the EU. After the transition period it will apply directly in all member states.
Many buzzwords revolve around the PPWR: reusability, recyclability, compostability, recycling rate, packaging avoidance, substances of concern. But which of these regulations are relevant for fibre-based packaging and which are not? Which players do need to consider what? What do I need to consider from the very beginning when developing new products?
This workshop aims to shed light on these issues for companies that produce, process and use paper and cardboard. Instead of just focusing on theory, the workshop will also look at specific examples from practice.
