The laser codeability of folding box cartons is determined according to PTS method PTS-DF 105/2019.
For this purpose, the sample to be tested is printed with a black contrast ink and then a data matrix code is ablated ("burned in") with two lasers (9.3 and 10.6 µm) under defined conditions. The grading of the code should be at least 2(C) according to ISO/IEC 15415 in order to meet the requirements according to FFPI specification FFPI-SP 08/2019 "Pharmaceutical carton, specification", section 2.6 "Subsequent codability".
Certificates can be issued jointly with the FFPI on request.
