The inkjet codability of folding box cartons is determined according to PTS method PTS-DF 103/2022.

For this purpose, a data matrix code is printed on the sample to be tested with a standard inkjet ink under defined conditions and wiped over after 0.3 s with a paper under defined contact pressure. The grading of the code should then be at least 2(C) according to ISO/IEC 15415 in order to meet the requirements according to FFPI specification FFPI-SP 08/2019 "Pharmaceutical carton, specification", section 2.6 "Subsequent codability".

Water-based and solvent-based inks are available. Certificates can be issued together with the FFPI on request.
